Privacy Policy

Effective 20 October 2026

Block Mash is a single-player puzzle game for Android and iOS, made by Leminect (“we”, “us”). It has no accounts, no chat and no in-app purchases. This policy explains what information the game and the services built into it collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information stored on your device

  • Game progress and settings (scores, levels, coins, streak, themes, and your sound and reminder choices) are saved only on your device. We never receive them. Uninstalling the game deletes them. If your device makes backups, for example Android backup to your Google account or iCloud backup, the backup may include them; that backup is yours and we can’t access it.
  • Player ID: a random code made on your device and shown in Settings. It isn’t linked to your name or contact details, and the game doesn’t send it anywhere. It only reaches us if you include it in an email.
  • Reminders are notifications scheduled on your device, at most one a day. No server sends them. You can turn them off in Settings or in your device settings.

When you contact us

If you email us from Settings → Contact support, the message starts with your Player ID, the game version, and your device model and system version, so we can look into your question. You can edit or remove them before sending. We use your email address and message only to answer you, and keep them only as long as needed to help you.

Information collected by services in the game

The game uses the services below from Google. They collect the information described here, as explained in Google’s Privacy Policy and in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Google AdMob (ads)

Collects
Your device’s advertising identifier (where your device settings and choices allow it), IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads.
Why
To show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ads and prevent fraud.

Google User Messaging Platform

Collects
Your privacy choices for ads.
Why
To ask for, remember and apply those choices.

Google Analytics for Firebase

Collects
Game events (for example, a game started or a level won), an app instance identifier, the advertising identifier where your device and choices allow it, device model, system version, and approximate location (city or country, worked out from your IP address).
Why
To understand how the game is played, find problems, improve the game, and measure ad revenue.

Firebase Crashlytics

Collects
Crash reports: what the game was doing when it crashed, device state and an installation identifier.
Why
To find and fix crashes.

Firebase Remote Config

Collects
An installation identifier, the game version, and your device’s language and region.
Why
To deliver game settings, such as difficulty and how often ads appear, without an app update.

Time check (Firebase Hosting)

Collects
Only what any web request carries, such as your IP address. The game sends no identifiers or game data; it reads the time from the reply.
Why
The game asks this website for the current time, so daily rewards follow the real date even when the device’s clock is wrong.

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We don’t collect your name, your email address (unless you email us), contacts, photos, precise location or payment information.

Ads and your choices

  • Consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and where US state laws require it, the game asks for your choices before showing personalized ads. You can change them at any time in Settings → Privacy options.
  • US state privacy rights: where a law treats personalized advertising as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, you can opt out in Settings → Privacy options, or with your device’s ad settings described below.
  • iPhone and iPad: the game asks before using your device’s advertising identifier for tracking. You can change this in your device’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on the device).
  • Ads in the game are limited to content rated for general audiences with parental guidance (PG) or lower.

Children

Block Mash is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long information is kept

  • Game data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase keeps event-level data for at most 14 months. Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days.
  • Analytics, crash and ad data are tied to random identifiers, not to your Player ID, name or email, so we can’t look up or delete the records of a particular person. Reinstalling the game or clearing its data normally gives you new identifiers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the EEA, the UK or California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or limit how it is used, and to withdraw consent at any time. The quickest controls are Settings → Privacy options in the game and the ad settings on your device. For anything else, email us.

Security

Information that the game and these services send is encrypted in transit.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Its host, Firebase Hosting (Google), processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure.

Changes to this policy

When the game’s data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
